Job summary

Ericsson in Mumbai seeks a Senior Program Director to drive delivery of 5G/4G Core and Cloud solutions for diverse customers. You will guide multi-vendor teams, set milestones, and ensure on-time, on-budget execution across complex engagements.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, change management, and building strong internal and external relationships, with focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing to industrialize delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as Program Manager, including Core and Cloud delivery.
• Experience delivering virtualized, and containerized Network Function projects.
• Expertise in automating test and deployment processes.
• Strong project control skills, with the ability to manage projects to meet targets and deadlines.
• Strong customer stakeholder management skills with ability to present to executive leadership in customer organization.
• Solid financial background and experience in delivering within assigned budget.
• Highly developed risk-management skills.
• Demonstrated accountability, customer-focused mindset, positive outlook, willingness to help others outside your assigned activities.
• Strong relationship management experience with leadership, engineers, developers, support, and sales teams.
• Innovative and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to leverage automation to reduce overall delivery timelines.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Experience with solutions in the Packet Core and communication services platforms (e.g., Dual Mode Core, PCC/PCG, MME, EPG, SAPC, CNIS, CEE).

• Lead and empower local and global teams to deliver on-time, enhance profitability, and improve continuously, through governance and project controls.
• Identify milestones, obstacles, recommend and implement workable solutions, identify and mitigate risk, raise and resolve issues.
• Lead change management including the definition of impacts to scope, budget, timeline, and quality with stakeholder agreement.
• Build strong internal and external relationships.
• Harvest and optimize best practices, create and share knowledge assets to industrialize delivery processes.
• Promote a “one team” atmosphere and coach project team members to support their professional growth.

What you will do:
