Job summary

Rainbow Hr Consulting Services is seeking an experienced IBMS/ELV Design Engineer to design IBMS equipment and layouts for upcoming data center projects. The role involves reviewing RFPs, preparing design documents, and ensuring adherence to standards and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in design, plus proven Data Center design exposure. Willingness to visit and support onsite execution is essential.

Qualifications

• 10-12 yrs overall experience with minimum 5 years in design
• Data Center design experience is preferred
• B.Tech inInstrumentation/Electronics is required

Responsibilities

• Design of IBMS equipment, sizing and services layouts for data center projects
• Review customer RFP and prepare design documents for presentation
• Ensure design complies with customer RFP and design standards within timelines
• Review detail design deliverables from consultants and drive quality deliverables
• Take ownership of IBMS design and ensure no variation in BOQs during execution
• Act as design coordinator, coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders, and present in weekly design calls
• Communicate effectively to drive discussions and present technical documents to customers
• Support site execution team on design and testing/commissioning fronts
• Leverage experience in Fire System, IBMS, Access Control and CCTV design
• Assist budgeting and cost estimation efforts

A Large upcoming Data Center(MNC) is hiring IBMS/ELV Professionals for their Data Center Business.

Role & responsibilities

• Design of IBMS equipment, sizing, and services layouts for data center projects
• Review of customer RFP and preparing design documents to present to customer.
• Ensuring design as per customer RFP & design standards getting completed seamlessly
• within stipulated timelines.
Review of detail design deliverables from consultants & driving them on quality deliverables.
• Shall be able to take complete ownership of IBMS design and ensure no variation in BOQs during execution.
• Shall be able to work as a design coordinator for the entire design deliverables, coordinate with other SMEs, stakeholders and maintain DCI progress time to time and present in
• weekly design calls.
• Shall have good communication skills to drive discussions, present technical documents to
• customers.
• Support to site execution team on design front & testing / commissioning front.
• Shall have very good experience in design of Fire System, IBMS, Access Control & CCTV systems etc.
• Shall have good experience in Budgeting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate shall be B. Tech (Instrumentation / Electronics)
• 10-12 yrs of overall Experience.min 5 year Design exp is a must
• Data Center design experience will be added advantage.
• Should be willing to Visit & travel to Sites to Support the execution teams/contractors
