Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Maximo technical expert to lead design and migration initiatives. The role focuses on data migration strategies across Asset Management, Work Management, Purchasing, Spatial and Inventory modules.

You will define configuration designs, integration approaches, and documentation to ensure robust implementation. Required are 4+ years of Maximo experience, Maximo 7.x, and strong skills in MX Data Loader, Talend, Python/Jython, Java/J2EE, SQL, and WebSphere

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Maximo technical experience.
• Experience with Maximo 7.x.
• Experience with data migration strategies for Maximo Asset Management, Work Management, Purchasing, Spatial and Inventory modules.
• Define application configuration design and data migration strategy; prepare necessary documentation.
• Extensive experience with Maximo data conversion/migration using MX Data Loader and Talend.

Responsibilities

• Design integration solutions and prepare documentation.
• Develop and customize Maximo using scripting, Java/J2EE and SQL.
• Work with WebSphere app servers in Linux environments.
• Create and validate MAS/functional and technical artifacts.
• Experience with BIRT Reports is desirable.

• At least 4+ years of Maximo technical experience
• Experience with Maximo 7.x
• Must have experience with generating precise functional and technical design, data migration strategy for Maximo Asset Management, Work Management, Purchasing, Spatial and Inventory modules
• Define Application configuration Design, Data migration strategy, Integration Designs, Prepare necessary documentation
• Extensive experience with Maximo Data Conversion/ Migration using MX Data loader, Talend and scripts
• Experience with Maximo Integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object Structures, services, channels, etc.), User exit classes. XLST/XML, SOAP/REST API etc.
• Experience with Maximo Customization technologies (Java scripts, Python/Jython, Java/J2EE, SQL)
• Experience with WebSphere 8.5/ 9.0 application servers administration (Linux environment preferred)
• Experience on BIRT Reports
• Knowledge on MAS and MAS Functional/Technical Certification would be an added advantage
