Job summary

IBM SSW team seeks a Software Developer to join a dynamic, technical environment in India. You will work with experienced professionals to understand product functionalities, requirements, defects, and enhancements for new releases and patches, covering development, testing, test automation and client support.

Daily interactions with product owners and engineers will guide product development, with opportunities to explore DevOps, SRE, and security as part of daily work.

Qualifications

Experience: 1–4 years as a Software Developer or Full Stack Developer.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work through the software development lifecycle from requirements through releases.
Collaborate daily with Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers and Engineering Manager and other teams.
Proactively seek improvements and learn new technologies to positively impact products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Software Developer position for IBM SSW team. This professional will be immerse in a innovative, dynamic and technical work environment, working side-by-side with experienced and bright professionals towards a common goal

Act as e Software Development Engineer, responsible for understanding product functionalities, requirements, defects and enhancements to deliver these on new releases and patches, he /she will be involved in the software development cycle, requirements review, coding, test, test automation and client support. DevOps, SRE and Security are others areas that he or she will be engaged as part of daily work.

Work on a daily basis with Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers and Engineering Manager, Other internal Teams, Sales, Business Partners in order to guide the product’s development

Proactively seek for improvements opportunities and innovation that matters by learning new technologies and methods that can positively impact the products.
