Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Application Developer: Cloud FullStack to design and deploy cloud-native applications using microservices, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components with NoSQL and RDBMS databases.

You will collaborate with senior practitioners to build secure cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation tools. Strong Java/Springboot and Kotlin skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software development experience; 3+ years building backend applications using Java/Springboot and Kotlin.
• Experience with: Microservices architecture and distributed systems, Event-driven systems and messaging platforms (Kafka).
• RDBMS (Oracle and Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Mongo, Redis, Cassandra)
• Elasticsearch, Cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar). Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Strong problem-solving skills with solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Integrate Multiple Technologies: Utilize expertise in multiple layers of application development, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Multi-Technology Integration: Familiarity with integrating multiple technologies, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases, is a plus.
• DevOps Tool Expertise: Exposure to various DevOps tools and methodologies to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications is desirable.
