Job summary

Goodfit seeks an IAM Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation for IAM processes using ServiceNow. The role centers on building scalable automation with Flow Designer, Workflows, and Script Includes to streamline provisioning, access requests, and RBAC/JML tasks.

• 3–4 years hands-on experience with ServiceNow automation/development.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and Service Catalog.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript.
• Experience developing Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Catalog Items.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow automation and workflows for IAM processes.
• Build and maintain automation using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Catalog Items.
• Automate IAM processes such as user provisioning/de-provisioning, access requests and approvals, role/group assignment, JML processes, and access revocation.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and IAM platforms/applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Analyze manual IAM processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing ServiceNow workflows and integrations.
• Develop reusable automation components to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.
• Work with IAM teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical automation solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and post-production support for ServiceNow automations.
• Monitor automation failures and troubleshoot issues within defined SLAs.
• Maintain technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and automation processes.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and change-management processes.

IAM Automation Engineer / ServiceNow Automation Engineer

Experience: 3–4 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an IAM Automation Engineer / ServiceNow Automation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for Identity and Access Management processes using ServiceNow. The candidate will work closely with IAM, security, application, and infrastructure teams to automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance IAM service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Good to Have

• Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with IAM platforms.

• Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP.

• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and MFA.

• Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting.

• Experience with ServiceNow REST APIs and IntegrationHub.

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CAD.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ServiceNow automation experience and understands IAM processes well enough to automate identity and access workflows. The role is primarily focused on automation and development rather than routine IAM ticket operations.
