Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hydraulic and Pipe Fitter role based in Vasai. The Hydraulic and Pipe Fitter will install, fit, and maintain hydraulic pipes, tubing, and related components for industrial hydraulic and lubrication systems. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing and aligning pipes, performing welding operations, and assembling high-pressure and steam lines as per specifications and safety standards. The role involves inspecting and testing fitted systems for leaks and performance, troubleshooting issues on equipment and installations, and coordinating with engineers and supervisors to ensure timely project completion. The Hydraulic and Pipe Fitter will also be expected to maintain tools and work areas, follow all safety procedures, and support continuous improvement of installation and maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Pipe and Pipefitting skills, including measurement, cutting, threading, bending, and installation of pipes and fittings for hydraulic and steam systems.
• Welding and TIG Welding skills for joining pipes and structural components, with the ability to work on high-pressure and industrial applications safely and accurately.
• Experience working with steam lines and high-pressure systems, with understanding of relevant safety standards and industrial best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications related to hydraulic and piping installations.
• Prior experience as a hydraulic fitter, pipefitter, or in a similar industrial maintenance or installation role, preferably in heavy industry or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in pipefitting and welding, and adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team as well as independently in an on-site industrial environment.
• Relevant technical qualification or vocational training in welding, fitting, or mechanical trades; additional certifications in welding or pipefitting are an advantage.
