Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Gurgaon seeks a skilled Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with Azure IaaS and IaC expertise. You will design, secure and automate cloud platforms while supporting developers across Azure and other clouds.

The role emphasizes governance, observability, and optimization in a global Hub & Spoke architecture with Enterprise Scale deployments and DevOps automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure infrastructure experience with IaC.
• Experience with Cloud Architecture Framework and Enterprise Scale.
• 2+ years in Azure DevOps and Pipelines.
• Strong scripting with PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Knowledge of ITIL/security frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, secure and automate cloud platforms using IaC.
• Define reference architectures for Cloud and Hybrid environments.
• Improve observability, detection and alerting in cloud services.
• Enforce governance using policies, RBAC, and tagging standards.
• Support cloud migration and modernization from on-prem to cloud.
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and runbooks.
• Mentor team members on Azure DevOps and IaC.
• Collaborate with security and application teams to remediate incidents.

Your role

• Understand of Azure IaaS, including but not limited to.
• Understanding of hosting virtual machines on theAzureplatform, includingdeployment,connectivity,patching,monitoringand images.
• Understanding of networking on the Azure platformincludingPrivate Endpoints,Azure Firewall,Network SecurityGroupsandconnectivity viaS2SVPNs and ExpressRoute.
• Understanding ofStorage serviceon the Azure platform includingBlob, File,RecoveryVaults and Site recovery.
• Experience of IaaS in another globalHyperscaler(AWS, OCI, GCP)in addition to Microsoft Azure.
• Define andmaintainreference architecturesforCloud and Hybrid environments,platformstandardsand user guides.

• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives (on premises toCloud, hybrid models).
• Infrastructure as Code/DevSecOps
• Understanding ofInfrastructure as Code, whyit’sused andcommon deploymenttechniques.
• UsingAzure DevOpsto deploy and updateCloudservicesvia Infrastructure as Code.
• Create new Azure DevOps pipelines and troubleshoot when pipelines fail.
• Mentor and upskill team membersinthe use of Azure DevOpsand Infrastructureas Code.
• Promote automation first, least privilege, and zero trust principles across cloud operations.
• Work closely with security team and application teams to remediate support incidents.
• Provide guidance on best practicesincluding optimizingenvironments for cost, performance, reliability, and security posture.
• Continuously improveprocesses, automation,deliveryand reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor to infrastructure and application teams.
• Ensure environments meet internal security standards and regulatory obligations.

About you

• 5+ years of experience inAzureinfrastructure, with at least 2 yearsinvolved with Infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrated experience withCloud Architecture Framework/Azure Enterprise Scale/Landing zones.
• 2+ years of Azure DevOps experience, working withversioning, codecontrolanddeploymentpipelines.
• Proficiencywith PowerShellAzure Cmdletsand/or Azure CLI.
• Experience of on-premises technologies, virtual machines, storage solutions
• Experience of MicrosoftServerOperatingSystems(2019+)
• Experience of other GlobalHyperScalersin addition toMicrosoftAzure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Microsoft Azurecertifications:Azure Fundamentals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL, security frameworks, or enterprise service delivery models.
