Job summary

AtkinsRéalis India Private Limited seeks a hands-on Cloud Engineering & DevOps leader with 10–12+ years of experience to guide delivery on Azure. You will mentor engineers, manage budgets, and drive engineering excellence across projects. The role focuses on secure cloud design, networking, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have strong Azure, AKS, DevOps, and production support background, with proven leadership in delivery and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field.
• Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, ITIL or cloud certifications are a plus.
• Experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, and production support roles.

Responsibilities

• Cloud, DevOps & Operations design, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage AKS, containerised workloads, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform RCA, and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health to ensure service availability.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
• Leadership & Delivery lead a team of engineers with mentoring, coaching, and training.
• Plan, assign, and govern project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly status reports, delivery updates, and customer communications.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
• Act as the technical escalation point for critical issues and customer concerns.
• Networking & Security provide leadership on networking concepts including DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and subnets.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, NSG, and network security issues.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet organisational security and compliance requirements.
• Stakeholder Management collaborate with clients, business teams, architects, developers, and support teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Support business growth by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to solution discussions.
• Documentation & Governance maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures.

We are seeking a passionate problem solver who works closely with customers and team members to ensure system availability, operational excellence, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong Azure cloud, DevOps, networking, and production support expertise, coupled with proven leadership capabilities in managing teams, projects, and client relationships. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can design secure cloud solutions, lead delivery teams, provide technical guidance, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role

About You

• 10-12+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, Production Support, and Solution Delivery.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 3-5 engineers, including planning, task allocation, project execution, and technical coaching.
• Strong experience working in production support, operations support, and maintenance projects.
• Experience managing incidents, problem management, RCA, and SLA-driven support environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing secure Azure solutions using: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Container Registry (ACR) Azure Container Apps (ACA) Azure Container Apps Jobs Azure OpenAI Azure IoT Services
• Experience implementing solutions within secure enterprise environments using VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, Private Endpoints, and Identity & Access controls.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, delivery trackers, status reporting, and governance activities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.
