Job summary

Zydus Hospitals in Surat invites an experienced HVAC maintenance professional to oversee hospital air conditioning systems and related infrastructure.

You will coordinate with project teams, supervise preventive maintenance, ensure compliance with hospital standards, and drive energy conservation initiatives across chillers, AHUs, VRV and related equipment. Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with refrigeration and air conditioning systems including AHU, ductable units and chillers.
• Ability to plan and execute projects in a hospital setting.
• Capability to manage manpower and material resources.
• Strong communication skills and decision-making ability.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and read schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth execution of air conditioning jobs.
• Monitor installations per BOQ/design and documentations.
• Ensure project deliverables meet hospital standards.
• Manage installations for HVAC, chillers, AHU, FCU, VRV, pumps and DX systems.
• Handle preventive maintenance, energy conservation and safety rounds.
• Maintain plant log books, checklists, stock and consumptions.
• Train department staff and prepare duty rosters.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• To coordinate with Project teams during Project Phase for smooth executions of Air conditioning jobs.
• Monitoring all installations as per BOQ/Design and its documentations
• To ensure project deliverables meet with Hospital Standards.
• To maintained all installations related to air conditioning, chiller plants, cooling towers, AHU, FCU, VRV system, Pumps, DX system, Mortuary, Refrigerator
• To manage all routine complaints. Planning and execution for any modification/expansion in existing infrastructure
• To take care of Medical gases services, Pneumatic Tube system and Nursing Call Bell System.
• To assist other department as and when required, to perform all other jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
• To look after preventive maintenance schedules, regular floor facility and safety rounds and took energy conservation initiatives with in hospital.
• To diagnose service issues, calibrate system as per manufacturer recommendation, Air filters validations.
• To maintain all plant related log books, Check list, stock inventory and material consumptions.
• To follow all instructions of Superiors.
• To supervise all works related to engineering maintenance.
• To allocate duties to the team members and distribute responsibilities among.
• To ensure smooth functioning of HVAC System and Mechanical systems.
• To impart training to the department associates.
• Preparing Duty Rota for all employees and department.

Dealing with vendors and Keeping track on Annual maintenance contractor and Licenses
