Job summary

SAP Fioneer in Bengaluru seeks an HR Operations professional to manage end-to-end HR services across India and APAC. The role requires familiarity with Indian labour law, payroll compliance, and HRIS like SuccessFactors.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding, leaves, promotions, data in SuccessFactors, and SLAs, collaborate with Global HRBP and vendors, maintain SOPs, and ensure confidential records. Excellent communication and process discipline required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in HR generalist, India shared services & operations.
• Experience in Asia Pacific countries like Singapore, Australia, Japan, New Zealand is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fair knowledge of India payroll statutory compliance is an added advantage.
• Hands on knowledge of HR Systems like SuccessFactors, Sharepoint, JIRA ticketing system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day HR operational activities for India & Asia Pacific region, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, and letters.
• Manage monthly payroll and benefits; coordinate with payroll vendors and ensure SLA-compliant submissions.
• Assist HR operations lead/manager; drive regional activities and contribute to new initiatives.
• Maintain employee data in HRIS (SuccessFactors) including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers.
• Ensure processes meet SLAs and are accurate; act as point of contact for HR inquiries.
• Create and update SOPs and Knowledge Base for the region.
• Handle sensitive information in line with confidentiality regulations.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and periodic HR activities.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, local POCs & business leaders as needed.
• Promote SAP Fioneer values and positive employee experience.

About the Role:

Our HR Operations team manages the end-to-end HR services across global locations. We work closely with Global HRBP, local HR Managers, regional teams, employees to deliver consistent HR support, while continuously improving systems and processes.

As a part of this team, you will be a key contributor who will be supporting our entities in India and Asia Pacific (APJ / APAC) region on HR Operational activities. This role requires familiarity and fair knowledge in Indian labour law and payroll compliance. Knowledge of other Asian countries, where SAP Fioneer operations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day HR operational activities for India & Asia Pacific region, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, leave management, employee letters etc.

• Managing monthly payroll and benefits. Coordinating with our payroll vendors, ensuring payroll inputs are submitted, validated in specified SLA’s.

• Assist the HR operations team lead / Manager in driving the regional activities on day-to-day basis. Participate in new initiatives, suggest best practices and ideas to elevate HR operations processes.

• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system (SuccessFactors), including new hires, terminations, probations, promotions, transfers etc.

• Ensure processes are executed with accuracy, efficiency and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries from our employees regarding HR processes and systems, Payroll, benefits etc. in timely manner. Route the inquiries to the correct POC or teams, if not in scope.

• Creating and maintaining the standard operating procedure (SOP). Ensuring regular updates of the SOP and Knowledge Base for the region.

• Carefully handling sensitive matters, highlighting the issues to team lead, Global HR operations manager. Ensuring sensitive and confidential records are maintained in adherence with SAP Fioneer confidentiality & data protection regulations.

• Supporting teams in new projects, audits, and periodical HR activities (e.g., Bonus payout, Yearly tax activities, compliance checks etc.)

• Perform root cause analysis in case of recurring issues and suggest best practices at work.

• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, local POC’s & business leaders as and when needed.

• As a key contributor, promote the SAP Fioneer values, cultural enablement and bring positive employee experience.

Job Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in HR generalist, India shared services & operations activities.

• Experience in Asia Pacific countries like Singapore, Australia, Japan, New Zealand etc. shared services will be an added advantage but not mandatory.

• Fair knowledge of India payroll statutory compliance will be an added advantage.

• Hands on knowledge of HR Systems like SuccessFactors, Sharepoint, JIRA ticketing system is preferred.

• Candidate passionate about working in process centric module, managing SLA and timelines to ensure HR operations are running smooth.

• Excellent communication skills, problem solving, attention to details, ability to perform independently or under limited supervision.

• Ability to handle bulk, short notice requests.

• Experience handling local or global stakeholder will be an added advantage.

• Proactive, self-motivated, strong team player and a positive attitude is must.
