Job summary

SAP Fioneer GmbH is building a world-class Finance Shared Service Center in India. As Team Lead, you will steer the setup and operation of the SSC for JAPAC and MEA, shaping processes, governance, and performance metrics.

You will recruit and mentor a high-performing team and drive digital finance transformation using SAP S/4HANA. You will lead the transition of core finance processes into the SSC, ensuring controls, automation, and digital excellence while collaborating with global stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; Masters preferred.
• 10+ years in finance operations, SSCs, or global process ownership.
• Proven success in setting up or scaling finance SSCs in multinational environments.
• Deep knowledge of finance processes and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in software or financial services is a plus.

Lead the setup of our Finance SSC that supports our operations in JAPAC and MEA from process design to service delivery and governance. Define the SSC’s operating model, performance metrics, and roadmap in alignment with SAP Fioneer’s global strategy. Drive the transition of key finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) into the SSC with precision and care, utilize AI Agents to build actionable use cases. Lead & Inspire: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team. Create a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Be a mentor, coach, and role model for your team.

Implement standardized, scalable processes with strong controls and automation. Leverage SAP S/4HANA and other tools to drive digital finance transformation. Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure top-tier service delivery and compliance. Collaborate Globally, Act as the key liaison between the SSC and global stakeholders. Build strong relationships across regions and functions. Communicate progress, challenges, and wins to senior leadership.
