Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services in Mumbai invites an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Vikhroli. You will partner with project leaders and functional managers to align people strategies with business goals across multi-location projects.

Qualifications

  • MBA / Master’s in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience (flexible based on role level).
  • Prior experience as HRBP in Consulting, Engineering, Pharma, Life Sciences environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or site/project-based workforce is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with project leaders, engineering heads, and functional managers to align people strategies with business and project goals.
  • Translate business requirements into HR initiatives covering talent, capability building, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends, attrition, productivity, and engagement.
  • Support manpower planning for projects including mobilization, ramp-ups, and demobilization.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for timely hiring of project, engineering, and support roles.
  • Identify critical roles and high-potential talent, support succession planning and development initiatives.
  • Drive the end-to-end performance management process in alignment with global or organizational frameworks.
  • Coach managers on goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and performance differentiation.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters within assigned business units.
  • Proactively manage employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases with fairness and consistency.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives suitable for project-based and site environments.
  • Identify skill gaps in project and engineering teams and support targeted learning interventions.
  • Partner with L&D teams to roll out technical, leadership, and behavioral training programs.
  • Support development plans for high-potential employees and future project leaders.
  • Support organizational changes such as restructuring, project transitions, role changes, and site closures.
  • Enable leaders through communication planning, change readiness, and stakeholder management.
  • Drive adoption of new HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Support annual salary reviews and bonus planning.
  • Provide guidance on job evaluations, pay benchmarking, and internal equity.
  • Drive rewards and recognition initiatives aligned with project milestones and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies.
  • Support audits, documentation, and adherence to company governance standards.
  • Partner with HR Operations to ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes.
