Job summary

CVS MULTIServices Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Team Lead Operations for the BPCL IFMS Project to lead safety programs and enforce HSSE standards at various BPCL sites. The role requires 3–7 years of safety experience and relevant Fire & Safety qualifications.

The candidate will conduct risk assessments, oversee PTW, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations while driving safe operations across locations in India.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in safety operations.
• Education in Fire & Safety or Health & Safety or related field.
• Exposure to BPCL HSSE policies and standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BPCL HSSE policies and standards are implemented at sites.
• Conduct safety inspections at petrol pumps, depots, and project sites.
• Maintain compliance with Factories Act, OISD, PESO, and local regulations.
• Perform HIRA and develop control measures to minimize risks.
• Oversee PTW system and verify permits for hazardous jobs.

Team Lead Operations (BPCL IFMS Project)

Location: M.P, U.P, PUNJAB, J&K, KERELA (all)

Experience: 3 TO 7 YEARS

Educational Background: DEGREE/DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATION IN FIRE & SAFETY OR HEALTH & SAFETY OR RELATED

Salary Bracket: 30K TO 40K

Duties to be taken Care:

• Safety Management & Implementation
  • Ensure implementation of BPCL HSSE policies and standards at site
  • Achieve Zero Accident / Zero Harm objective
  • Conduct daily safety inspections at petrol pumps / depots / project sites
  • Monitor unsafe acts & conditions and take corrective actions
• Policy Implementation & Compliance
  • Ensure implementation of BPCL HSSE policies, standards, and guidelines across all sites.
  • Comply with statutory requirements like Factories Act, OISD standards, PESO norms, and local regulations.
  • Maintain alignment with international standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
  • Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) for all activities.
  • Develop and implement control measures to eliminate or minimize risks.
  • Ensure Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Method Statements are prepared and followed.
• Site Safety Monitoring
  • Carry out regular safety inspections, audits, and patrols at BPCL locations.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as:
    • Work at Height
    • Confined Space Entry
    • Hot Work
    • Electrical Work
    • Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees and contractors.
• Permit to Work (PTW) System
  • Implement and monitor PTW system strictly as per BPCL standards.
  • Verify permits for hazardous jobs and ensure compliance before job execution
