Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance across its operations in India. You will develop and maintain HSE management systems, conduct risk assessments, lead investigations, train staff, monitor metrics, manage emergencies, and liaise with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Recognized professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CHMM).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian HSE legislation and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Environmental Protection Act, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs and achieving measurable improvements in safety performance.

Responsibilities
