Job summary

AECOM is seeking an HSE Engineer for Wind PMC to monitor compliance across wind construction, erection, commissioning, and logistics activities. You will oversee contractor and OEM HSE adherence and contribute to safety governance on large-scale infrastructure projects.

The role requires 7-10 years in HSE management, with Industrial Safety certification. NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or ADIS preferred; based in Mumbai with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree with Industrial Safety qualification.
• 7-10 years of HSE management experience in wind, heavy-lift, or infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ADIS, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor and OEM compliance with project HSE requirements throughout wind construction, erection, commissioning, and logistics activities.
• Review PTW, JSA, risk assessments, work-at-height controls, and lifting procedures.
• Monitor crane operations, site logistics, and electrical safety compliance.
• Conduct inspections and monitor corrective action closure.
• Track incidents, near misses, and lessons learned.
• Participate in investigations and preventive action reviews.
• Support emergency preparedness and response readiness.
• Maintain HSE observation and closure reports.

Key Responsibilities

HSE Compliance Monitoring

• Review PTW, JSA, risk assessments, work-at-height controls, and lifting procedures.
• Monitor crane operations, site logistics, and electrical safety compliance.
• Conduct inspections and monitor corrective action closure.

Incident & Risk Management

• Track incidents, near misses, and lessons learned.
• Participate in investigations and preventive action reviews.
• Support emergency preparedness and response readiness.

Reporting & Governance

• Maintain HSE observation and closure reports.
• Escalate critical safety concerns and trends.

Qualifications

Education

• Engineering or Science Degree/Diploma with Industrial Safety qualification.

Experience

• 7-10 years in HSE management for wind, heavy-lift, or infrastructure projects.

Certifications
