ReNew in India is seeking an HSE professional to govern health, safety and environment standards across solar projects, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory regulations. You will implement safety programs, build a safety culture, coordinate trainings, monitor processes, and report metrics to leadership across sites in Andhra Pradesh.

The role requires collaboration with site teams for risk assessment, incident investigations, and contractor safety audits to continuously improve safety

Responsabilidades

• Implement safety programs and verify effectiveness in projects.
• Build safety-focused culture within the team.
• Coordinate with central HSE to identify training needs and conduct trainings.
• Monitor HSE processes with continual improvement based on RCA and experience.
• Track health and safety metrics to identify and reduce risks and implement mitigation.
• Work with site teams to implement the EHS system at site.
• Coordinate with central HSE to implement and improve systems and policies.
• Update knowledge of applicable HSE regulations in line with changes in law.
• Inspect safety audits at site and support improvements in safety.
• Analyse job safety risks and incorporate findings into work instructions.
• Assist investigations of accidents and near-misses and prepare reports.
• Prepare monthly HSE metric reports and present to management.
• Assist evaluating subcontractors by HSE performance.
• Implement and monitor Contractor Field Safety Audit program.

Job Description

Job Purpose

• To govern HSE in Solar projects within the framework of Environment, Health & Safety standards.


• To ensure compliance to, legal & statutory regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Effectively implement organizational safety programs and check effectiveness in projects.


2. Build safety work culture in the team


3. Co-ordinate with central HSE for identifying the training needs and imparting in-house/ external training


4. Monitoring HSE processes and procedures with continual improvement based on RCA and operational experience


5. Tracking of health and safety metrics to identify and to reduce risks with implementation and tracking of mitigation plan


6. Work closely with site in-charge, site team, & QHSE team on implementation of EHS system at site


7. Coordinate with central HSE for implementation and improvement of systems, policies and procedures


8. Update current working knowledge of all applicable HSE regulations as per change in law in timely manner


9. Inspect/ safety audits at site and support site to enhance safe work environment


10. Analyse job safety and associated risk and ensure to incorporate the same in work instruction for activities


11. Assist site team for investigating of all accidents and near-misses be investigated, prepare report of findings and horizontal deployment


12. Preparing monthly report on HSE metrics and presenting the same to management in timely manner


13. Assist in evaluation and selection of subcontractors on the basis of their HSE performance.
