  • Proficiency in ATS, HR platforms, ticketing tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

The Global Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition and Onboarding operational support across Hitachi Energy. This role is responsible for managing stakeholder inquiries, maintaining knowledge resources, supporting process and system improvements, and ensuring a positive user experience for recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates. The position also plays a key role in driving operational excellence through data analysis, process optimization, stakeholder education, and cross‑functional collaboration.

How you’ll make an impact:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for TA and Onboarding operational inquiries and provide timely, accurate resolution or escalation.
  • Manage support channels and case queues, ensuring compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Guide stakeholders to self‑service tools, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures to promote efficient issue resolution.
  • Escalate complex process or system issues to appropriate specialist teams and ensure effective case handoff and follow‑up.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance knowledge base content, SOPs, user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements based on support trends and stakeholder feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and promoting process awareness.
  • Support adoption of new tools, processes, and self‑service capabilities through stakeholder education and engagement.
  • Analyze support metrics and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor process compliance, perform operational audits, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
  • Support and lead operational improvement initiatives, system enhancements, process standardization efforts, and small‑to‑medium‑scale global projects.
  • Develop and optimize support, escalation, and operational processes to improve efficiency, service quality, and stakeholder experience.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, New Joiner Experience, HRIS, IT, Global Recruiting, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure operational alignment and successful delivery of business objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Operations, Shared Services, or Recruitment Support.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding induction journey processes in a global environment.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR platforms, ticketing tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday Recruiting and Workday HCM, including candidate management, job requisition administration, reporting, and transaction support.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and process improvement skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across global teams.
