Job summary

Vikram Solar seeks a Senior Oracle HRMS Techno-Functional Lead to own the Oracle HRMS/HCM landscape, bridging HR processes and technology. You will coordinate HR, IT, and partners to ensure reliable operation and continual optimization.

You will drive configuration, upgrades, and integrations via OIC, and oversee reporting with OTBI/BI Publisher, while mentoring staff and ensuring payroll/data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/HR or related field.
• 6–10 years of Oracle HRMS/HCM experience, 3+ years in a techno-functional/managerial role.
• Hands-on with Oracle HCM Cloud or EBS HRMS modules and integrations.

Job Purpose

This role includes HRMS (Oracle) will be the techno-functional owner of the organization's existing Oracle HRMS/HCM landscape. This role bridges HR business processes and the Oracle technology stack, ensuring the system runs reliably, supports evolving HR needs, and is continuously optimized. The incumbent will act as the primary point of contact between HR stakeholders, IT, and Oracle support/implementation partners.

Role & responsibilities

Techno-Functional Ownership

• Own end-to-end functioning of the Oracle HRMS/HCM modules already deployed (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Talent Management, Recruitment, Self-Service, Absence Management customize to actual modules in use)
• Translate HR business requirements into functional/technical specifications and configure Oracle modules accordingly
• Manage system configuration, workflows, approval hierarchies, and business rules within Oracle HRMS

Support & Maintenance

• Manage day-to-day production support, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis for HRMS-related incidents
• Coordinate with Oracle support (SRs/OCS) and implementation partners for patches, bug fixes, and quarterly updates
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security/access controls

Enhancements & Projects

• Lead functional design and rollout of new modules, features, or process automations within Oracle HRMS
• Manage integrations between Oracle HRMS and other systems (payroll processors, biometric/attendance systems, finance/ERP, third-party benefits platforms) via OIC or other middleware
• Drive testing cycles (SIT/UAT) for upgrades, patches, and new deployments

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as primary liaison between HR, IT, and Oracle/implementation partners
• Manage SLAs with vendors/AMS partners supporting the Oracle HRMS platform
• Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials for HR/end users

Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure statutory and compliance requirements (payroll, labor law, data privacy) are reflected accurately in system configuration
• Generate and maintain dashboards/reports (via OTBI, BI Publisher, etc.) for HR and management reporting
• Ensure data security, audit readiness, and adherence to data privacy regulations

Team & Governance

• Guide and mentor junior functional/technical resources or vendor teams
• Maintain change management, version control, and documentation discipline for all HRMS changes
• Report project/support status regularly to Sr. GM IT & Digital

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, HR, or related field (MBA-HR or equivalent is a plus)
• 6-10 years of experience in Oracle HRMS/HCM (Cloud or E-Business Suite, depending on org's environment), with at least 3+ years in a techno-functional or managerial capacity
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Talent, etc.) or Oracle EBS HRMS, as applicable
• Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, and Fast Formulas (if EBS)
• Strong understanding of HR processes: hire-to-retire lifecycle, payroll, statutory compliance, performance management
• Experience managing vendor/AMS relationships and Oracle support tickets (SRs)

Preferred Skills

• Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s)
• Exposure to SQL/PL-SQL for data extraction and troubleshooting
• Experience with system upgrades/migrations (e.g., EBS to Cloud transitions)
• Familiarity with data privacy/security frameworks (GDPR, local labor law compliance)
