Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a detail-oriented Workday Techno-Functional Time Off & Leave Analyst to support configuration, maintenance, and administration of Workday Time Off and Leave of Absence processes. The role requires hands-on experience with Workday Time Off and Leave modules and Core HCM, plus a solid understanding of business processes and advanced reports.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Time Off and Leave of Absence plans based on business requirements.
• Support leave eligibility rules, accrual calculations, carryover policies, and absence validations.
• Assist in testing Workday enhancements, releases, and configuration changes.
• Monitor and resolve employee and manager issues related to leave requests, balances, and approvals.
• Create and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields related to absence management.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate leave administration and compliance.
• Support data audits, system validations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Document business processes, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in Workday bi-annual release testing and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Workday certification or Workday tenant experience is an added advantage.
• Exposure to integrations, EIBs, and Workday release management is preferred.
• Familiarity with global leave and absence processes.
