Job summary

Kitab India Private Limited is offering a 6‑month in‑office HR internship in Hyderabad. You will help build the hiring engine, design onboarding, and set up KPI tracking using ClickUp, with ongoing dashboard updates for leadership.

You will support culture initiatives, handle confidential employee matters, and assist in drafting HR policies and SOPs as the company grows. Stipend ranges INR 15,000–35,000 per month with flexible hours and perks.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI prompts and modern HR tools is a plus

Job description

About the internship:

• Build Kitab's hiring engine: Identify, screen, and hire great people, from the first JD to the signed offer
• Design a memorable day 1: Plan and manage the full onboarding experience for new joiners
• Turn goals into KPIs: Set up KPIs in ClickUp, track them live, and conduct monthly check-ins with every team member
• Keep the pulse of the team: Maintain attendance and leave records and update dashboards that show the founders how the team is doing at a glance
• Shape the culture: Organize team rituals, conduct engagement surveys, and maintain a learning calendar
• Be the person people trust: Listen to employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and handle issues with care and confidentiality
• Write the playbook: Develop HR policies and SOPs that help Kitab run smoothly as it grows
• Make every exit graceful: Coordinate handovers, conduct exit conversations, and maintain complete records
