This position includes hands-on case management with leadership of HR practices to strengthen organizational culture and compliance and reduce risk, liability, and exposure to GIA. Additionally, this role supports HR operations with oversight of workforce scheduling, leave administration, employee data transactions, new hire orientation, and ensuring accurate and timely updates in HR systems.## Essential Duties* Lead and oversee grievance handling, investigations, and remediation processes* Document, assess, and resolve employee relations issues, escalating when needed* Drive continuous improvement in HR case management* Mentor and guide junior HR team members, fostering capability building* Monitor compliance with HR policies and ethical standards* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent HR practices* Oversee workforce scheduling to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs* Oversee the administration of leave programs to ensure adherence to policies and statutory compliance* Manage HR operations including employee data transactions and record updates* Oversee the facilitation of new hire orientation and Day 1 onboarding processes* Ensure accurate and timely updates in HR systems across all HR operations## Competencies* Knowledge of U.S. employment laws (NY, NJ, CA, NV, LA), HR compliance, and employee relations best practices* Leadership and people management capabilities* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills* High level of ethics, discretion, and confidentiality* Experience conducting investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills* Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and U.S. employment laws* Excellent knowledge of HR case management and employee relations* Knowledge of workforce scheduling and leave management best practices* Familiarity with onboarding processes and best practices* Attention to detail and accuracy**Disclaimer:** This job description indicates in general terms, the type and level of work performed as well as the typical responsibilities of employees in this classification and it may be changed by management at any time.
