Job summary

Konia Chemicals, a growing industrial water treatment company in Gujarat, is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations for both blue- and white-collar teams.

You will own payroll coordination, ensure timely salary processing, handle compliance (PF, ESIC, Labour Laws), drive recruitment across technical, sales and operations, and strengthen employee engagement while developing HR policies, SOPs and performance processes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC and labour laws.
• Experience handling blue- and white-collar workforce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vapi, Gujarat.
• Proficient with HRMS tools and systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to manage and strengthen our HR function end-to-end. This role involves a mix of operational execution and strategic implementation, covering compliance, payroll, recruitment, and employee engagement across both white-collar and blue-collar teams.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

• Manage employee attendance, leave records, and payroll coordination
• Ensure timely and accurate salary processing and documentation

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Handle full-cycle recruitment across departments (technical, sales, operations)
• Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and documentation

Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Factories Act, and applicable Labour Laws
• Maintain records and coordinate with consultants or authorities as required

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Address employee grievances and maintain a healthy work environment
• Ensure adherence to POSH policies and workplace ethics
• Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs
• Create and maintain employee handbook
• Support performance management and appraisal systems

Eligibility Criteria

• 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup
• Strong practical knowledge of statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, labour laws)
• Experience handling both blue-collar and white-collar workforce
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vapi, Gujarat
• Should have a strong knowledge of HRMS tools and systems
