Job summary

Intertek Navi Mumbai is seeking a capable analyst to support testing operations in food analysis. You will perform sample analysis and method validations under the guidance of the Section In-Charge, maintain instrument logbooks, and prepare working reference standards.

Proficiency with HPLC, GCMS-MS and LCMS-MS is essential, with attention to calibration and uncertainty calculations. Candidates should hold a B.Sc./ B.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.Tech./ equivalent degree and have 2–4 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Sample analysis & Method Validations under the guidance of Section In-Charge.
• Understand the complete requirement of the method before initiating the analysis.
• Maintenance of all logbooks of equipment being used in section.
• Working reference standard preparation.
• Maintenance of records for working reference standards with their logbooks under the supervision of Section In-Charge.
• Glassware calibration.
• Intermediate checks of equipment under the supervision of Section In-Charge.
• Specific responsibility of the assigned instrument (HPLC, GCMS-MS, LCMS-MS).
• Calculating uncertainty of measurement for different parameters.
• Responsible for calibration, maintenance and uncertainty calculation of the specified instruments under the supervision of Section In-Charge.
• Any other assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Sample analysis and method validation under supervision.
• Ensure understanding of method requirements before analysis begins.
• Keep logbooks for all equipment used in the section.
• Prepare working reference standards as needed.
• Maintain records for reference standards with logbooks under supervision.
• Calibrate glassware and maintain equipment.
• Perform intermediate checks on equipment under supervision.
• Handle HPLC, GCMS-MS and LCMS-MS instruments responsibly.
• Calculate measurement uncertainty for parameters involved.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments and document uncertainty calculations.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Section In-Charge.
