Job summary

Eurofins Analytical Services (India) Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - HPLC (Vitamins) to lead vitamin analyses and HPLC operations in our Gurgaon laboratory. The ideal candidate will drive method development, validation, and data integrity while managing a small team.

The role requires hands-on HPLC expertise, strong QA/compliance experience, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. NABL/ISO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry/related field.
• Experience in HPLC analysis, preferably vitamin testing.
• Experience in regulated NABL/ISO lab environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HPLC analysis of vitamins in food, nutraceuticals, pharma, or related samples.
• Lead sample prep, instrument operation, data processing, and result interpretation.
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HPLC systems.
• Drive method development, validation, and routine implementation.
• Review chromatograms, data, calculations, and test reports for accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor productivity, turnaround time, workflow, and instrument utilization.
• Provide training and technical guidance to analysts and team members.
• Support internal/external audits and close observations timely.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely testing and delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for quality and efficiency.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Assistant Manager - HPLC (Vitamins) to join our laboratory team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in HPLC-based vitamin analysis, method development/validation, laboratory operations, quality compliance, and team management.

• Manage and oversee HPLC analysis of vitamins in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or related samples.
• Perform and supervise sample preparation, instrument operation, data processing, and interpretation of chromatographic results.
• Ensure effective utilization, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HPLC systems.
• Handle method development, method validation, verification, and routine implementation of analytical methods for vitamin testing.
• Review chromatograms, analytical data, calculations, worksheets, and test reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with applicable SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory/accreditation requirements.
• Monitor laboratory productivity, sample turnaround time, workflow, and instrument utilization.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to analysts and other laboratory team members.
• Support internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of testing activities and timely delivery of results.
• Drive initiatives related to continuous improvement, laboratory efficiency, quality, and data integrity.

Qualifications

M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Science, or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in HPLC analysis, preferably with significant exposure to vitamin testing.

Experience working in a NABL/ISO or other regulated laboratory environment would be an advantage.
