Job summary

Catalysts Bio Technologies in Kolkata requires a skilled Analytical Scientist to conduct HPLC/GC analyses and support multiple projects across R&D and QC teams.

You will develop and validate methods, analyze samples, maintain instrument calibration, and ensure GLP/Safety practices while collaborating with stakeholders and BD teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in HPLC analysis, preferably sugar, organic acids and ethanol analysis.
• New method development and troubleshooting skills.
• Sound knowledge and openness to basic biochemical analysis.
• Awareness of GLP practices.
• Inventory management capability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of samples using HPLC, GC, spectrometer and basic lab instruments; develop/validate HPLC/GC methods.
• Analyze sugars, alcohols, antibiotics, enzymes, active ingredients, and raw materials.
• Provide technical support for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive multiple projects and meet timelines.
• Document experimental results and maintain lab records in FMS system.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance of chromatography instruments.
• Support in instrument qualifications and maintenance.
• Interact with BD team regarding services and updates.
• Ensure fire safety compliance and GLP/Safety practices.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Conduct analysis of samples using HPLC, GC, Spectrometer, and other basic analytical instruments of the lab with experience in developing and validating HPLC/GC methods
• Analysis of Sugars, Alcohols, Antibiotics, enzymes, active ingredients, and raw material using HPLC/GC
• Providing Technical support for internal and external stake holders
• Being the clear R&D player by working closely with cross-functional teams to drive execution across multiple projects while maintaining and achieving timelines to ensure speed to market.
• To conduct analysis of samples and provide inputs to R&D/QC teams
• On time delivery of analysis results with good troubleshooting.
• Streamline existing process or develop new processes.
• Have regular interaction with BD team for your services.
• Documentation of experimental results
• Preventive Maintenance & calibration of Chromatography Lab Instruments.
• Support in Qualifications and maintenance of Critical Instruments.
• Weekly highlights, monthly updates and recording experimental results FMS system.
• Fire Safety in charge, Follow strictly GLP/ISO/Safety Practices.
