• Inspect rooms for maintenance, report issues to supervisor for resolution.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, follow SDS guidelines and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts, storage closets, and work areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables per waste procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects, events, or other duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation policies; use PPE properly.
• Report suspicious activity or security concerns to management.
• Handle lost and found items according to company policy.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces within the establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring a comfortable, safe, and pleasant environment for all guests and staff, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Clean and tidy all assigned public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, such as toiletries, towels, and stationery, ensuring all items are well-stocked and neatly arranged.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance needs, damage, or missing items, and promptly report any issues to the supervisor or maintenance department for resolution.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety data sheet (SDS) guidelines and company safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, and work areas throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional supplies or services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately, following waste management procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects, special events, or other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management immediately.
• Handle lost and found items according to company policy, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
