• Learn basic check-in/check-out processes; basic pool operations.
• Understand water management, solar heater & generator; handle requisitions and handovers.

About the Role

As a Room Attendant at Daspan House & you will be flag bearer
for the personal service & guest relations for all in-house guests. You
will be the sole person responsible to make sure all in-house guests are comfortable along with maintaining clean premises & smooth operations.

Summary of Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager / Managing Director Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Always offering a professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Make sure you are well groomed at all times - uniform is clean, shoes are polished, proper haircut & shaving.
• Assist in-house guests regarding any requirements that they may have.
• Having knowledge of our complete offering at Daspan House with opening & closing timings.
• Having knowledge of all items on - on call.
• Having a basic understanding of the concierge services.
• Having a basic understanding of the food & drinks menu.
• Having complete knowledge of room service standards.
• Remembering names & various habits of in-house / repeat guests.
• Making sure all pantries are clean & well stocked at all times.
• Keeping sure the common areas of the hotel are clean at all times.
• Keeping snags list (repairs & maintenance) updated at all times.
• Daily cleaning of all rooms & bathrooms.
• Making sure all rooms are ventilated and are odour-free.
• Monthly inventory of all items.
• Having a basic understanding of cleaning solutions.
• Keeping a thorough check on the quality of laundry.
• Learning basic check-out & check-in process.
• Understanding swimming pool operations.
• Making sure the in-house plants are healthy at all times.
• Making sure you have a complete understanding of water management, solar heater & generator.
• Understanding requisition & issue out.
• Having proper handovers.
• Other duties as assigned by the manage

Work Conditions

Comfortable being on their feet throughout the day
Occasional lifting of furniture, pots and moving items whenever needed
Helping other departments whenever needed.
Should be comfortable with night shifts
