Qualifications

• Graduate with relevant experience in reputed educational institutions (Experience in a residential university will be an added advantage.)
• Relevant experience in hostel administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the allotment of hostel rooms to students.
• Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of hostel premises.
• Monitor the quality of food served in the hostel mess.
• Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
• Report incidents of indiscipline or misconduct to the university authorities.
• Address students' grievances and resolve genuine concerns in a timely manner.
• Arrange first aid and coordinate medical assistance or hospitalization during emergencies.
• Provide guidance, counselling, and support to promote students' physical, mental, and emotional well‑being.
• Ensure the safety and security of all hostel residents at all times.
• Maintain a ragging‑free environment in accordance with university policies.
• Supervise housekeeping and ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the hostel.
• Respond effectively to medical, social, and personal emergencies involving hostel residents.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Management or Director Administration.
