Job summary

SONOSCAN HEALTHCARE PRIVATE LIMITED in Kolkata invites applications for a Pharmacist responsible for dispensing OPD/IPD medications, counseling patients, and ensuring medicines are available as per doctor prescriptions. You will maintain accurate medication records and manage inventory in a hospital setting.

Candidates should hold a D.Pharm, B.Pharm or M.Pharm from PCI-recognized institutions and have 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience; strong communication with patients and healthcare

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or B.Pharm or M.Pharm from PCI-recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital/institution.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medicine availability as per doctor prescriptions and dispense OPD/IPD medications.
• Counsel patients and ensure they receive the right medications.
• Maintain accurate medication records and manage OPD/IPD inventory.
• Support pharmacy operations and maintain prescription compliance.

Responsible for indenting & ensure medicine availability in the pharmacy as per doctor prescription of OPD/ IPD.

Dispensing OPD/ IPD medications, counseling patients and ensuring that patients receive the right medications.

Maintain accurate medication records and manage inventory of both OPD/ IPD.

Qualification

Holding degree i.e. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy(B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from government recognized institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Should have minimum 1- 2 years working experience as a pharmacist in any reputed hospital / Institution.

Should have a strong understanding of pharmacy.
