Job summary

Omnissa Horizon seeks a senior EUC/VMware Horizon Engineer to lead enterprise VDI deployments and provide end-to-end Horizon/EUC operations. You will manage ESXi/vSphere, Windows Server, and HCI while coordinating with AWS/Azure for hybrid cloud setups.

The role requires 8+ years in IT infra with 4+ years in Omnissa Horizon/EUC, strong troubleshooting, and experience with DEM. US/UK shift readiness and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 4+ years in Omnissa/VMware Horizon & EUC.
• Hands-on experience in Horizon, Workspace ONE Access and DEM.
• Experience in enterprise VDI deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ESXi, vSphere, Windows Server and HCI.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of 3rd-party IDM integration, DNS, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Experience in log analysis and basic scripting/automation.
• Ability to create HLD, LLD and solution documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer/stakeholder and vendor management.
• Willing to work US/UK shifts and rotational on-call/night shifts.
• Omnissa/VMware or AWS/Azure certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Horizon and EUC engineering efforts and design scalable solutions.
• Deploy, administer and troubleshoot enterprise VDI environments.
• Maintain ESXi, vSphere, Windows Server and HCI infrastructure.
• Work with AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Integrate 3rd-party IDM, DNS, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Perform log analysis and basic scripting/automation tasks.
• Create high-level and low-level design documents and solutions.
• Provide strong troubleshooting and problem-solving support.
• Manage customer, stakeholder and vendor relationships.
• Prepare for US/UK shifts and rotational on-call/night coverage.
