Job summary

Sutherland in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced US Payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll, ensure tax compliance, and resolve complex issues. The role requires hands-on PeopleSoft expertise and strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing.

You will perform audits, reconciliations, and data validation, coordinate with HR/Finance and external vendors, and drive process improvements. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field is required.

Qualifications

• 2-9 years of experience in US Payroll.
• Mandatory: Hands-on PeopleSoft experience.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end US payroll and multi-state payroll processing.
• Understanding of US payroll taxation, FICA, deductions, and compliance.
• Experience in payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Exposure to ADP, Workday, Kronos, or Compass is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
• FPC/CPP certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
