Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pega Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in Pega development and a Certified Decisioning Consultant (CDH) certification. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH), migration projects, cloud technologies, and performance optimization. This role demands strong technical skills across Pega, Cassandra, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud platforms such as GCP, along with proven ability to lead upgrades, automate deployments, and resolve complex performance and migration issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review Next Best Action Decisioning (NBAD) migration projects, including detailed context setting and validation.
• Provide technical services and support for Pega platform integrations with Cassandra, Kafka, cloud packages, Docker images, and ensure compliance with standards for running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Analyze and improve performance related to Pega databases such as Cassandra and PostgreSQL, Kafka messaging systems, and batch feed processing (daily/hourly) for inbound and outbound data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues identified during performance testing phases.
• Design and implement operational models and Business Operations Environment (BOE) system setups to support Pega applications.
• Apply best practices based on existing Pega decisioning frameworks to ensure compatibility, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Lead Pega platform upgrades (e.g., version 24.2), including setting configurations, data migration, and post-upgrade issue resolution.
• Establish automated rule deployment pipelines using tools like G3 and manage user authentication and authorization systems such as LDAP.
• Address and resolve issues related to Pega Cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transition and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and business analysts to deliver high-quality Pega solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Pega development best practices and decisioning strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Pega development with extensive exposure to Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) implementations.
• Certified Decisioning Consultant (CDH) certification is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in Pega PRPC platform, including BPM, BRE, case management, and decisioning rules.
• Experience with database technologies such as Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), containerization (Docker), and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and batch feed processing optimization.
• Skilled in Pega platform upgrades, data migration strategies, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Knowledge of automated deployment tools (e.g., G3) and user management systems (LDAP).
• Pega Certified Lead Decisioning Architect (LDA) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Pega decisioning architecture, AI-powered customer engagement, and real-time event processing.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and managing Business Operations Environment (BOE) and operational models.
• Prior involvement in cloud migration projects for Pega applications.
• Experience working with Kafka, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL in a Pega context, including support or collaboration with third-party support teams.
