Job summary

Gebbs Healthcare Solutions seeks an IP DRG Coder to identify procedure and diagnosis codes using ICD-10-CM & HCPCS from medical records, and to enter data into the client system ensuring accuracy and timely productivity.

The role requires 1 year of inpatient DRG coding experience with MS-DRG and APR-DRG knowledge, CC/MCC concepts, and familiarity with physician query processes and coding compliance guidelines; certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Inpatient DRG coding with high accuracy and productivity (1 year).
• Sound knowledge of MS-DRG, APR-DRG, and CC/MCC assignment concepts.
• Hands-on experience with the physician query process and coding compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify the procedure & diagnosis codes with ICD-10-CM & HCPCS manuals by reviewing medical records.
• Enter codes and other required data into the client system (patient, physician, insurance information).
• Achieve production & quality targets consistently as per process requirements.
