Job summary

Study Square Global in Surat is seeking a dedicated IELTS/PTE Trainer for a full-time, on-site role. You will design engaging lessons, deliver instruction in classrooms, and provide individual feedback to help students improve listening, reading, writing and speaking.

You will administer practice tests, track progress, and align training with study abroad goals. PREFERRED: TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certification and a Bachelor’s in English or education.

Role Description

The Hiring IELTS/PTE Trainer role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Surat. The trainer will conduct classroom and small‑group sessions to prepare students for IELTS and PTE exams, focusing on listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. Daily responsibilities include designing and updating lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, providing individual feedback, and tracking student progress. The trainer will also administer practice tests, review results with learners, and guide them in test strategies and time management. Collaboration with counseling and admissions teams to align training with students’ study abroad goals, as well as maintaining accurate academic records and participating in internal training or workshops, is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
• Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills with experience in exam‑focused instruction.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of IELTS and PTE test formats, scoring, and preparation techniques.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning abilities and experience creating structured, outcome‑based curricula.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Recognized TEFL/TESOL or similar certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and adapt teaching methods to varying proficiency levels.
• Prior experience as an IELTS/PTE trainer or language instructor will be highly beneficial.
