Job summary

2coms is seeking a seasoned Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud Developer to lead the implementation and ongoing support of BillingCenter applications on Guidewire Cloud. You will work with on-site teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The role requires 7–12 years of experience, Guidewire Cloud Certification at Associate/ACE, strong Gosu, Java and SQL skills, and familiarity with CI/CD and offshore delivery.

Qualifications

• Guidewire Cloud Certification at Associate or ACE level.
• 6–8 years of hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter experience.
• Advanced Gosu, Java and SQL skills; Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter v10 or newer.
• Expertise in Guidewire configuration and integration.
• REST APIs, XML, and web services knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence.
• Direct development experience with Guidewire Gosu code, APIs, methods, rules.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and integrate BillingCenter modules using Gosu and Java.
• Develop and support billing processes: workflows, invoicing, delinquency management, payments, commissions, GL integrations.
• Collaborate with on-site stakeholders and offshore teams for delivery strategy.
• Diagnose production incidents and provide BillingCenter support.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment activities.
• Coordinate with external providers for system connectivity.

Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud Developer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud Developer to lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of BillingCenter applications within the Guidewire Cloud Platform. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with on-site teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Success in this position demands a profound command of Guidewire Cloud standards, Gosu programming, and the intricacies of the billing domain to ensure robust and efficient billing operations.

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Location: Hyderabad, Trivandrum, and Pune

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and integrate Guidewire BillingCenter modules utilizing Gosu and Java technologies.
  
• Engineer and sustain critical billing processes, including workflows, invoicing, delinquency management, payment processing, commission calculations, and general ledger integrations.
  
• Partner with on-site stakeholders to clarify client needs and orchestrate effective offshore delivery strategies.
  
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents while providing comprehensive technical support for BillingCenter applications.
  
• Actively engage in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and demonstration sessions.
  
• Perform rigorous peer code reviews to guarantee strict adherence to established coding standards and best practices.
  
• Facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and manage cloud-based deployment activities.
  
• Liaise with external third-party service providers and integration owners to ensure seamless system connectivity.
  

Requirements

• Possession of a Guidewire Cloud Certification at the Associate or ACE level.
  
• 6-8 years of hands‑on professional experience specifically with the Guidewire BillingCenter module.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Gosu, Java, and SQL, with experience in Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  
• Proven track record working with Guidewire BillingCenter version 10 or newer.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in Guidewire configuration and integration practices.
  
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, XML, and web services.
  
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence.
  
• Direct development experience with proprietary Guidewire Gosu code, APIs, methods, rules, and business processes.
  
• Exceptional communication and coordination capabilities.
  
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter modules.
  
• Practical knowledge of DevOps tools and containerization technologies, including Docker and Helm.
