Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer to implement, configure, and customize BillingCenter in the P&C insurance domain. You will build BC configurations, Gosu code, and data models while supporting integrations and upgrades.

The role requires 7+ years software development with 3+ years BC hands-on, strong Java/J2EE, SQL, and Agile experience. On-site in Hyderabad, India with related duties as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter (BC).
• Strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter, Gosu, PCF Configuration, Business Rules, Data Model Extensions, Batch Processes, Workflows.
• Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE concepts.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire BillingCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain Guidewire configurations including PCF, Data Model, Workflows, Business Rules, and Gosu code.
• Build and support integrations using SOAP/REST Web Services and messaging frameworks.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Guidewire upgrade and migration activities.
• Follow best practices for development, deployment, and quality assurance.
