Job summary

Vivantify is hiring a Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud Developer with 7–11 years of experience to implement, configure, and support Guidewire BillingCenter applications on the Guidewire Cloud Platform. You will configure BillingCenter modules, develop scalable billing solutions using Gosu and Java, and collaborate with onsite teams to ensure successful offshore delivery.

The role involves CI/CD, cloud deployments, production support, and participation in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 7–11 years of hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter and cloud experience.
• Experience configuring and integrating BillingCenter modules on Guidewire Cloud.
• Strong Gosu, Java, SQL knowledge and billing domain understanding.
• Certification in Guidewire Cloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

The role requires strong expertise in Gosu, Java, billing processes, and Guidewire Cloud standards, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with onsite teams.

Job Description

The role focuses on configuring and integrating Guidewire BillingCenter modules and developing scalable billing solutions using Gosu and Java. You will work across billing workflows, invoicing, payments, delinquency, commissions, and general ledger functionalities.

You will collaborate with onsite teams to understand requirements, assess technical feasibility, and coordinate offshore delivery. The position also includes production support, code reviews, Agile participation, CI/CD activities, cloud deployments, and coordination with third‑party service providers and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate Guidewire BillingCenter modules using Gosu and Java.
• Develop and maintain billing workflows covering invoicing, delinquency, payments, commissions, and general ledger processes.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to understand requirements and coordinate offshore delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support for BillingCenter applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, demonstrations, and delivery activities.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development and coding standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.
• Coordinate with third‑party service providers and integration owners.

Required Skills

• Guidewire BillingCenter with 6–8 years of hands‑on experience.
• Guidewire Cloud Certification at Associate or ACE level.
• Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and SQL.
• Oracle or SQL Server database experience.
• Guidewire BillingCenter version 10 or later.
• Guidewire Configuration and Integration experience.
• REST APIs, XML, and web services.
• Guidewire Gosu proprietary code, APIs, methods, rules, and processes.
• Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and containerization, including Docker and Helm.
