Infosys BPM Ltd. in Mangalore is seeking an Associate Consultant for the US healthcare operations. The role targets 5–8 years of experience and requires NCLEX and an active US RN license, with night shift availability in Mangalore.

You will lead training, data management and reporting, plus perform clinical reviews to determine medical necessity and ensure SOP compliance. Strong ICD/CPT and utilization knowledge are valued.

Formación

• Nursing degree with NCLEX certification and active US RN license.
• Desk-side experience in US healthcare is required.
• 5–8 years of healthcare/BPO experience is expected.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Review medical necessity and clinical appropriateness of authorization requests.
• Apply Milliman guidelines and regulatory SOPs in decision making.
• Support data management, reporting and quality initiatives on projects.
• Communicate findings clearly with US healthcare teams and clients.

Job Description:

1. Senior SME Skillset: Training, Data Management and reporting, Quality Tools, Descriptive Analysis, New project Implementation.
2. Perform medical necessity and clinical reviews of authorization requests to determine medical appropriateness of care in accordance with regulatory guidelines and Standard Operating procedures.
3. Clinical knowledge and ability to analyze authorization requests and determine medical necessity of service preferred.
4. Good understanding of US healthcare business
5. Knowledge of utilization management processes (preferred)
6. Ability to understand Milliman guidelines (preferred)
7. Knowledge of managed care, acute care, emergency room, cardiology, radiology, etc.
8. Understanding of ICD and CPT codes.
