Codriva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive QA strategy and release readiness. You will lead a 3-4 member QA team, design test plans, and mentor best practices across web and mobile apps.

The role requires 7-9 years in QA automation, strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, and proficiency with Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Noida office; immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of proven QA automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit.
• Proficiency in API testing with Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, leadership, and team-management skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead QA Automation Engineer with 79 years of experience in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for QA planning, test strategy, manual and relevant automation testing, release readiness, process ownership, and handling a team of 3-4 QA members.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, review, and maintain relevant automation test scripts and frameworks using Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
• Lead automation execution, analyze results, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
• Handle and mentor a team of 3-4 QA members, allocate tasks, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion of QA activities.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders on sprint planning, release planning, estimation, and quality deliverables.
• Own QA status reporting, defect metrics, release readiness, QA processes, and continuous improvement of testing standards and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7-9 years of proven QA Automation experience with strong expertise in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman/RestAssured.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, leadership, and team-management skills.
