Cognizant is seeking a skilled Coveo specialist to design and optimize search solutions. The role involves configuring Coveo features, building connectors, and developing Python-based extensions to extract metadata from content.

Responsibilities include implementing query pipelines, ML-driven suggestions, and integrating third-party components to deliver rich search experiences and actionable analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Coveo Search or search domain concepts.
• Experience indexing data sources into Coveo using connectors.
• Knowledge of features configuration: predictive suggestions.
• Knowledge of wildcard search, facets configuration, partial search, and thesaurus.
• Stemming enablement and stop words removal.
• Experience using push APIs for custom connector development.
• Develop custom extensions using Python API to extract metadata and perform web scraping.
• Create query pipelines for different applications.
• Experience with ML models for query suggestion and ART.
• Build search pages and configure result templates.
• Construct Coveo API calls for search and analytics (click/view).
• Understand Coveo OOTB analytics reports and create custom dimensions.
• Proficient in Python for Coveo extension components.
• Integrate third-party components with Coveo.

Job description

1. Should have a strong knowledge in Coveo Search or search domain concepts
2. should be strong in indexing various data sourcesinto Coveo using Coveo connectors/custom connectors
3. Should have a knowledge in features configuration such as predictive suggestion, wildcard search, facets configuration, partial search, thesaurus configuration, stemming enablement, stop words removal
4. Should be strong in using push APIs for custom connector development
5. Should have a knowledge in developing custom extension using python API to extract metadata from the unstructured content and web scraping to derive structured content from unstructured document/page
6. Should have a knowledge in Query pipeline creation for different applications
7. Should have a knowledge in ML model creation for query suggestion and ART
8. Should be able to create Search page and configure for different result template
9. Should be able to construct Coveo API for search, analytics (search/click/view)
10. Should have a good understanding on Coveo OOTB analytics reports and dashboards and Custom dimension creation
11. Knowledge in python (coveo extension component)
12. Knowledge in integrating third party components in Coveo
