Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a CMM Operator in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and measurement techniques.
• Hands-on experience with CMM operation and inspection software.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
• Good attention to detail, measurement accuracy, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to inspect machined and manufactured components.
• Perform dimensional measurements as per engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
• Understand GD&T, tolerances, datum references, and technical drawings.
• Prepare and execute CMM inspection programs for different components.
• Generate and maintain CMM inspection reports and measurement data.
• Identify dimensional deviations and communicate inspection results to the Quality and Production teams.
• Ensure CMM equipment, fixtures, probes, and inspection tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Support quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with inspection procedures.

We are looking for a CMM Operator to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and perform accurate dimensional inspection of manufactured components. The candidate will work closely with the Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure components meet drawing specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
