Job summary

Syndrome NewEdge in Mumbai seeks an experienced Cisco ACI L2/L3 Engineer to lead implementation, operations, and troubleshooting of large-scale ACI environments. You will focus on ESG-based micro-segmentation, policy enforcement, and practical end-to-end connectivity across tenants, VRFs, BDs, and EPGs.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Cisco ACI experience across implementations and operations.
• Excellent understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and fabric components.
• Solid L2/L3 networking fundamentals with hands-on ACI troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with EPG, ESG, Contracts & Filters, uSeg / Micro-Segmentation, VRF, BD, Tenant, VLAN, and ACI policy configuration.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge and ability to troubleshoot ACI policy enforcement and endpoint connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Cisco ACI operations, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and manage ACI Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains (BDs), EPGs, VLANs, Contracts, and policies.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot ACI Micro-Segmentation policies.
• Work with ESG-based segmentation, including ESG creation, classification, EPG association and policy configuration.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and policy-related issues involving EPG, ESG, Contracts, VRFs, BDs, and endpoint classification.
• Analyze and resolve complex routing, switching, and ACI fabric-related issues.
• Collaborate with application, security, network, and infra teams to implement segmentation and connectivity requirements.
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and change activities related to the ACI environment.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide technical recommendations for recurring ACI/network issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Cisco ACI L2/L3 Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI implementation, operations, troubleshooting, and Micro-Segmentation. The ideal candidate should have strong networking fundamentals and practical experience managing complex ACI environments, particularly ESG-based Micro-Segmentation and policy enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day Cisco ACI operations, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across ACI, Routing, Switching, and L2/L3 networking environments.
• Configure and manage ACI Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains (BDs), EPGs, VLANs, Contracts, and policies.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot ACI Micro-Segmentation policies.
• Work extensively with ESG-based segmentation, including:
• ESG creation and classification
• ESG/EPG association and policy configuration
• ESG-based contracts
• uSeg (Micro-Segmentation)
• Contract and filter configuration
• Policy enforcement and troubleshooting

• Exposure to integration of ACI with firewalls, load balancers, virtualization platforms, and other data center technologies.
