Job summary

DMart in Thane is seeking an architect/designer to oversee design coordination, ensure compliance with local norms, and lead a team of Architects and Draughtsmen for timely project delivery.

You will coordinate with Execution, MEP, Commercial, liaison and Finance teams, applying good construction practices and knowledge of materials to align with DMart's retail layout standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of good construction practices and construction materials.
• Exposure to design of commercial buildings.
• Experience in handling and managing a team of Architects and Draughtsmen for delivering multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Check correctness of drawings as per Local Municipal norms and coordinate with external consultants.
• Make site visits and coordinate with team for site survey.
• Design and produce building proposals based on local norms and retail layout standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Execution, MEP, Commercial, liaison, Finance) for timely deliverables.
• Coordinate with Developers to ensure DMart specifications are explained.
• Ensure good exposure to design of commercial buildings.
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to ensure project milestones are met.

Role & responsibilities

1. Checking correctness of drawings as per Local Municipal norms, Design coordination with external consultants must. Liaise Exp. will be an added advantage.

2. Making site visit and coordinate with team for site survey.

3. Design and producing building proposal based on local norms and retail layout standards.

4. Should have thorough knowledge of good construction practices & construction materials.

5. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

6. Shall be responsible to coordinate with all internal dept. viz Execution, MEP, Commercial, liaison, Finance for timely deliverables.

7. Wherever required shall coordinate with Developers to ensure Dmart specifications are explained.

8. Should have good exposure to the design of commercial buildings.

9. Should experience in handling and managing team of Architect and Draughtsman for delivering multiple project.
