Job summary

Tata Elxsi, Inc. is seeking an experienced HIL Validation Engineer in Bangalore to validate automotive ECU functionalities in a HIL environment. The role requires hands-on HIL testing expertise with dSPACE and/or PROVETECH, and strong knowledge of CAN and related tools.

The candidate will develop test cases, configure HIL benches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust validation across HVAC, Powertrain, or Body CAN domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in HIL Validation/Testing.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE and/or PROVETECH platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CAN communication protocols.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, ControlDesk, or equivalent tools.
• Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Understanding of automotive ECU architecture and validation lifecycle.
• Experience in at least one of HVAC, Powertrain, Body Electronics/Body CAN domains.

Job Summary

We are looking for a HIL Validation Engineer with strong experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation using dSPACE and/or PROVETECH platforms. The candidate should have hands‑on experience in at least one automotive domain such as HVAC, Powertrain, or Body Electronics/Body CAN and be responsible for validating embedded automotive ECU functionalities in a HIL environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HIL test cases for automotive ECUs.
• Configure and maintain HIL test benches using dSPACE, PROVETECH, or equivalent platforms.
• Analyze system requirements and derive validation scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of UDS Diagnostics, LIN, Ethernet, or FlexRay.
• Experience with test automation using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture.
• Exposure to requirement management tools such as DOORS.
• Experience with CI/CD‑based validation environments.
