Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking an experienced HIL/ADAS test engineer with a strong background in dSPACE toolchain (Control Desk, Automation Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk) and UDS diagnostics. You will lead a project team, develop test scripts and cases, validate results, and deliver clear analyses for complex vehicle systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on modeling of HIL environments and integration of ADAS sensors into full vehicle simulations, with exposure to Python scripting and ECU Test automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in HIL Dspace with team handling and program management.
• Mandatory experience in ADAS/Chassis feature testing & UDS Diagnostics in HIL systems using dSPACE tools such as Control Desk, Automation Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk.
• Experience in Test Script development, Test case development, validation and report analysis.
• Test automation using ECU Test Tool; Python scripting is an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in ADAS and vehicle dynamics (Brakes, Steering, motion control).
• Hands-on experience modeling vehicle or system level HIL environment.
• Skilled in integrating models of ADAS sensors (cameras, radars, ultrasonics) into full vehicle simulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HIL based test strategies for ADAS features.
• Create and maintain test scripts and test cases across dSPACE toolchain.
• Analyze validation results and generate comprehensive reports.

• Knowledgeable in ADAS and vehicle dynamics (Brakes, Steering, motion control, etc).
