Job summary

DMI Finance invites an experienced Senior Collections Leader to manage MSME secured loan collections in India. You will steer regional teams, set targets, and implement cost-efficient collection strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role demands 18+ years in banking/NBFC collections, MBA Finance, and strong analytical skills. You will optimize processes, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with legal where required to reduce delinquencies.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance from a recognized university.
• 18+ years of banking/NBFC experience in consumer lending collections.

Responsibilities

• Achieve delinquency and NPA targets for MSME loans.

Job Purpose:

To manage the collections for the MSME Secured Loan portfolio and achieve thedelinquency & NPA targets, within the budgeted costs and ensuring Code ofconduct and regulatory compliance. To drive the teams in the regions, build thecollections infrastructure.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. MSME collections

• To achieve the delinquency and NPA targets
• Monitor and review delinquent accounts effectively.
• Focus on operational efficiencies and deliver on costtargets
• Analyze portfolio behavior & taking proactivemeasures
• Monitor overall performance with respective CollectionKPIs and scorecard metrices
• Build strategies using collectionanalytics to improve the resolutions and bring down the cost of collections
• Track the resolutions/flow rates/product of flows andprovide information to management through reports
• To achieve thebounce charges collections target
• Initiate legal where it is required

2. Team Management

• Capacity Planning
• Evaluate/ Review & recommend agencyempanelment
• Set up of BKT-wise, manager-wise &agency-wise daily, weekly & monthly targets
• Ensure training programs for new joiners& internal debt training programs for collection managers & externalvendors.
• Ensure that the agency bills are raised in a timelymanner and without discrepancies.
• Evaluate the portfolio quality basis the collectionsfeedback and provide inputs to the policy team on an ongoing basis forcorrective measures
• Drive the teams in the regions/ External Call centersand 20 plus field agencies
