Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services seeks a senior Quality leader to build and own the Quality function for a new manufacturing site in Pune. You will establish QMS aligned with ISO 9001, set up IQC/IPQC/FQC processes, and drive supplier quality, audits, and compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Quality Function & QMS

• Set up and build the Quality department from scratch.
• Develop and implement Quality policies, SOPs, and documentation systems.
• Implement QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and industry best practices.

2. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

• Establish inspection processes for raw materials and bought-out components.
• Define vendor quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Procurement for vendor qualification and evaluation.

3. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

• Implement stage-wise inspection systems for work-in-progress (WIP).
• Define control plans, quality checkpoints, and inspection procedures.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.

4. Final Quality Control (FQC)

• Ensure robust final inspection before product dispatch.
• Maintain product traceability and quality documentation.
• Implement testing and validation protocols.

5. Project Quality

• Define and implement quality standards for Gas Project execution.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning quality.
• Ensure proper handover documentation, including MTCs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Conduct site audits and ensure adherence to project specifications.

6. Quality New Manufacturing Plant

• Lead the end-to-end Quality setup at the upcoming Pargaon Khandala manufacturing facility.
• Establish inspection systems, testing protocols, and calibration processes.

7. Compliance & Certifications

• Drive ISO and relevant regulatory certifications.
• Ensure compliance with IS Standards, PESO norms, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and certification bodies.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Monitor and improve key quality metrics, including rejections, customer complaints, and product failures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across products and projects.

9. Customer Quality

• Manage customer complaints and field quality issues.
• Lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Establish customer feedback loops for product and process improvement.

10. Team Building & Leadership

• Build, hire, and develop the Quality team.
• Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement, Sales, and Product teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in Quality roles.
• Experience in manufacturing and project/site quality preferred.
• Proven experience in building Quality systems from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management frameworks.

• Hands-on and execution-driven approach.

• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
