Confidential in India, Kakinada, seeks an experienced purchasing professional to design and manage the yearly buying plan and budget for heavy manufacturing and marine projects.

You will source reliable suppliers for steel, engines, electronics, and specialized marine parts, negotiate best prices, delivery times and terms, draft agreements in line with maritime laws, and ensure delivered goods meet stringent safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 12–14 years in purchasing within heavy manufacturing/maritime sectors.
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts under maritime law.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the yearly buying plan and budget.
• Select reliable suppliers for steel, engines, electronics, and marine parts.
• Secure favorable prices, delivery times, and payment terms.
