PeopleStrong is seeking a Head of Plant Engineering, Maintenance & Automation for its Coimbatore campus. The role leads plant engineering, utilities, maintenance and automation across large-scale manufacturing facilities, driving readiness of critical utilities, digital factory initiatives and safety compliance.

The candidate should have 15+ years in plant engineering, a BTech/BE, and strong leadership in automation, utilities, and smart factory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant engineering, utilities, maintenance, and automation for large-scale facilities.
• Drive readiness of critical utilities (power distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, BMS).
• Define and execute automation strategy for lines, logistics, and utilities; deploy AGVs and MES-integrated systems.
• Improve productivity, energy efficiency, and traceability through data-driven systems.
• Develop TPM/RCAs to reduce downtime and improve MTBF/MTTR.
• Lead CapEx planning and vendor management for plant engineering initiatives.

Head – Plant Engineering, Maintenance & AutomationRole OverviewThe role is responsible for end-to-end leadership of plant engineering, utilities, maintenance, and automation for large-scale, highly automated manufacturing facilities.
